"At age 19, in 1990, as a budding photographer, I began to paint on top of my prints. A few years later, I discovered Adobe Photoshop. I experimented with combination of the usual photo lab enhancements and many other tools, including the smudge tool. My work can be seen in movies, magazines, galleries and even tattooed on fans. Through my artwork I heal myself and set out to help those who feel isolated and alone in their own pain, and to educate those who cannot understand what many of us experience as survivors of abuse or mental illness."
