"Aside from a dabble in fine arts at a university level while pursuing my degree in anthropology, I am a self-taught artist in the digital medium. I've been experimenting with digital design and art tools almost since they became available. My art spans and sometimes blends genres, but one thing I try to do which is a personal challenge in my creativity is add a special blend of depth, color and especially illumination. I think adding lighting to your work can make or break a piece. Lighted art has a captivating appeal. I want my viewers to take just a moment out of their world to step into my work and take a break, relax the gray matter and enjoy themselves."
