I was born in Leominster (MASS - USA) on February 24th 1958. I have lived in Italy since 1960. After my first experience in the graphic and painting sectors (1975-1986), I discovered the digital and computer art in 1990. In 1991 I organized, in collaboration with the town of Gorizia, an art-exhibition with some Italian artists. In 1994 I created the first "Photomorfosis" (a series of digital photomanipolations). From 1995 to 2007 I organized, in collaboration with the town council of Gorizia, the artistic project entiled "EurArt ". The following year (1996) the first Italian magazine for professional photographers published a part of my Photomorfosis. The slovenian Academy of Art in Lubiana invite me to organize a workshop on my Photomorfosis. In the same year the Italian organization of photography, FIAF, invited me, as a rapporteur, to the 17th District FIAF Congress. The Italian section of the AGFA group organized for me a very important historical exhibition in Milano (1999). In this occasion AGFA wrote: " ...with his Photomorfosis Redfern remains in the History of the italian photography..."

In October 2007 my video "The earth" received the "We show Award" prize for the best artistic video online.

The most important Italian newspapers and magazines wrote similar articles on Photomorfosis. Now my works are usually contained in private and public collections like Isontina State Library, District of Gorizia, AGFA, SatelGroup, Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rijeka (Croatia), Museums of Province in Gorizia, etc...

I was also invited to international workshops such as Video Film Festival Under 20, International Internet Days, Pixxel Point International digital art, goARtonline, etc ...

Since 2000 I have been the director of the virtualGmuseum in Gorizia, Italy.
