For these artistic endeavors in computer art, I start with macro photographs of natural resource materials. In the pieces you see, I have taken close ups of metal and ice that yield what I consider to be forms of art— invisible to the human eye, since most are less than ¼ inch in size and invisible to most of us who move too fast and with too many expectations or too many other things we think we will see. It is always an adventure to have nature reveal its art as I work and to see the possibilities of every photo. Then, working with software, I explore each piece to reveal its inherent colors, shapes, and artforms. Every effort brings me closer to nature, art, and myself through the discovery process.
