Pavel Kaplun was born 1965 in Kusnezk, Russia, where he graduated as a chemical engineer. He now lives in Hanover, Germany, where he works as a programmer and graphic and product designer. "His images are notable for their clarity, wit and humor, despite a kind of surrealism that is embedded in his work. But there's no morbidity or darkness here, only fun."
